Fellowship 和 Internship Programs

The Partnership offers a robust series of internships, fellowships 和 talent exchange programs designed to bring more young people into government 和 help agencies recruit 和 retain the talent they need to succeed.  Read more on these opportunities below.

A national system of federal agencies 和 institutions of higher education that helps colleges 和 universities connect students 和 alumni with federal jobs, trains universities to support students interested in public service 和 works to recruit the next generation of public servants.

Thumbnail for Cybersecurity Talent Initiative

The Cybersecurity Talent Initiative offers recent cybersecurity graduates the opportunity to gain public sector work experience, develop cross-sector networks 和 receive professional development. Participants are placed at a federal agency with cybersecurity needs for two years, receiving on-the-job cyber skills training. 同时, the Partnership offers technical training, professional development 和  a mentorship program to help guide participants. Applications for CTI cohorts open annually in August.

The Future Leaders in Public Service Internship Program places students with critically needed skills into 10-12-week paid summer internships at the Departments of Transportation 和 Commerce. C和idates interested in several career tracks—including finance, public policy 和 administration, 工程, 科学, 数学, information technology 和 the liberal arts—are encouraged to apply. Applications for the program typically open in the fall.

The Rosenthal Fellowship is a prestigious program that provides a select number of civic-minded graduate students in international relations with a summer internship in a congressional or executive branch office. Fellows will benefit from an unparalleled work experience 和 participate in events organized by the Partnership. A limited number of students will receive stipends to support their work. Applications for the Rosenthal Fellowship open each fall.

Building a more diverse, 公平的, inclusive 和 accessible federal workforce

Federal agencies need to build diverse, 公平的, inclusive 和 accessible workplaces 和 provide more opportunities to underrepresented communities to ensure our government mirrors the communities it serves. 

Our custom offerings help agencies embed DEIA principles into talent management practices,  create more inclusive organizational cultures, strengthen leadership capability on DEIA issues 和 develop more inclusive recruiting 和 hiring practices. We also foster collaboration among HR professionals, Equal Employment Opportunity specialists, hiring managers 和 other DEIA stakeholders, 和 bring together senior federal diversity officers to discuss DEIA issues 和 best practices. Our offerings are tailored for individual contributors, supervisors 和 team leads, affinity group members, senior executive 和 other teams.
